After all, we can move through tons of trendy movements with all kinds of exotic equipment during a workout … but if we aren’t challenging ourselves in the correct way through well-designed progressive programming, we likely won’t see quality results!
There is a reason for the popular claim that “kettlebells are the only piece of equipment you need.” This has less to do with the kettlebell itself and more to do with how you’re structuring your workouts and your movements. If you’re doing it right, you don’t need tons of fancy equipment at all!
In fact, as long as you have weight + resistance, you can perform some of the most powerful, transformative movements the human body is capable of, like squats, deadlifts, lungs, etc … the movements that to this day are still foundational tests of strength! These movements utilize several muscle groups at once, causing massive metabolic benefits that rapidly stimulate muscle growth and fat burn like no other
And in this 8-week program, we won’t just be doing these movements: we’ll be capitalizing on these movements with progressive programming, while rounding them out with other unique movements to give you full-body gains and a power shred! All of the workouts in this program are FULL LENGTH workout videos. I include timers on the screen so you can stay on it and know how much and when to work and rest! All you need to do is press play and get it done!
You have LIFETIME access to the workouts! This means you can complete the program in 8 weeks or take your time getting through it or even repeat the program as many times as you would like!
All you need is a kettlebell, resistance bands, and a pull up bar. I recommend using a moderate sized kettlebell. You’ll also need 2 to 3 long resistance bands (41 inches) of varying resistance that is appropriate for you. Every manufacturer has different colors and estimated weight resistance, but aim to get one light (15 to 30 pounds of tension), one moderate (30 to 90 lbs resistance), and one heavy (50 to 125 lbs resistance) resistance band.
Novice Female: 4 to 8 kilogram kettlebells
Novice Male: 12 to 20 kilogram kettlebells
Advanced Female: 12 to 16 kilogram kettlebells
Advanced Male: 16 to 24 kilogram kettlebells
The Simple + Savage Program is designed to be completed in 8 weeks. There are 20+ hours of unique workouts that you will complete while training 4 to 5 days a week.
This program includes workout videos but I also include a PDF that has the workouts written out for you.
The workout videos are accessible using my Primal Fit App, available for iOS and Android!
This program is built for anyone who wants to get in a calorie torching workout in 30 minutes or less. Great for busy people, BUT workouts are also able to be adjusted to be longer by adding bonus mobility warm ups and decompression cool down videos. This will create 45 to 60 minute long workouts if you desire!
I recommend wearing flat sole shoes or going barefoot. You want to feel grounded with a better connection to the floor. I love wearing Vivobarefoot shoes.
